Overview
Vera Creative is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to support the creation and development of websites, landing pages, and secure portals for our diverse clientele. You will collaborate with our team to determine the appropriate Front End and Back End solutions, and develop the digital products, databases, frameworks, and portals associated with success. The position will work closely with our Creative Director, UX/UI designer, and graphic designers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test responsive, mobile first websites, portals, and web apps.
- Make recommendations that align with client goals, project scope, and web best practices
- Define goals in collaboration with project managers, UX/UI design leads, stakeholders, and the creative team when necessary.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goals
- Participates in the maintenance, security auditing, and development client websites.
- Produce and meet deliverable deadlines for multiple projects
- Support the development of our internal web processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in front-end and back-end development
- Knowledge of modern full-stack web tooling
- Expertise with security and databases
- Experience in a variety of Back End, Front End, and Database technologies and frameworks
- Expertise in PHP, Python, NodeJS, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, MySQL, MongoDB, DevOps, and related frameworks.
- Experience building portals and familiarity with building web apps
- Familiar with Agile Methodology and workflow
- Communication is key. We’ll need you to come to the table with strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills. You’re expected to practice proactive communication every step of the way.
- You’re self-motivated and are able to complete tasks with minimal supervision once you have what you need (and have enough experience to know what you need).
Bonus points for: - Current Full Stack Development Frameworks
- Webflow and Figma experience is preferred
- Familiar with LMSs/LRSs (Learning Management Systems or Learning Record Stores)
- Familiarity with Airtable
- Strong profiling and debugging skills
- Agency experience is a plus
