The V Word Experience was Chicago’s first cause-driven art installation, centered around 6 human rights causes.

A portion of all ticket sales went to the Chicago-based non-profit of the attendee's choice. Vera Creative conceived and executed the popup, developed branding, paid ads, earned media, digital, and grassroots outreach.

The V Word is your voice. The project needed a logomark that was simple, replicable, and an icon that resonated with the popup’s message. Since this event was powered by Vera, we used a color pallet that had a similar bright tie into the Vera brand.

Our digital marketing efforts included web design and strategically curated social media marketing. The stellar branded content we created drove people to the website, where they bought tickets to experience the event and donated to the cause of their choice.

The Pop-Up!
Event Activation

The time had finally arrived. After months of hard work by the artists, construction teams, and the Vera team, The V Word Experience had its grand opening.

The people got to experience six rooms from the minds of 6 of the city’s top emerging artists. The V Word Experience provided both a platform and a backdrop for influencers to share which caused the word about the event to spread quickly across social media and the news. Better still, the conversation V Word helped spark about causes thanks to the countless attendees who left the event motivated to make their voice heard.

The V Word Experience collaborated with 6 of the city’s top immersive artists to provide a platform where attendees could amplify their voices and spread awareness at the intersection of artistic activism and culture.

Not only was the event a display of cultural creativity, but we engaged the public in a meaningful way that provoked discussion on social issues that impact our communities and society at large. The V Word Experience successfully raised funds for important causes in the process.
